I think they will go usac from the dismal action of the qma reps that came down to try and talk them out of it

I was just amazed at the no show of drivers and handlers for the Fall Nationals. They showed well over 300 cars for it but from what I counted on the results it was more like 219.

I hear there are also rumblings from a neighboring region that will REALLY upset the QMA applecart!

Car count was 255 for the fall nationals. It was still a great race

Curious on how you count cars...if a driver runs in 3 classes is that one car or three?

That is what I thought. Looking at the results it looked like a good turnout. Hopefully next year we will be making the trip for that event.

I would not say the presentation was dismal. I would say that anytime you are married to a peson or organization for several years, you know the good and bad. It becomes more of a discussion of what is liked, disliked, and what needs to be changed to make the marriage work.
When someone new comes in, its a clean slate, you have a hard time seeing the bad and all you get to see is the good. I am a realist.

I think some of you misunderstood me. I was pointing out the fact that almost 100 cars did not show that were pre registered. I'm sure it was a great race , it always is. It is just not coomon to lose 31% of cars that pre registered. I am sure the economy had some factor in it.

It is good we are getting a mixture of states to race at next year for the National Touring Series. North Carolina and Metro Atlanta both have 1st class tracks that everyone will love to race on.
