BONUS CONTINGENCIES ADDED FOR CORN BELT NATIONALS

Knoxville, Iowa (July 7, 2020)………Longtime USAC supporter ProSource has added $1,000 in bonus awards to the 2nd annual Brandt Corn Belt Nationals this Friday and Saturday, July 10-11, at Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway.

For each of the two nights of USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship racing, co-sanctioned by the POWRi WAR Sprint Car League, the ProSource Hard Work Award will present $250 to the slowest qualifier who transfers to the feature event.

At the conclusion of the two nights at Knoxville, the driver who advanced the most total positions from his or her feature starting spot throughout both nights of the Corn Belt Nationals will receive $500 as the ProSource Passing Master.  Provisional starters each night are ineligible to receive points toward the passing master total.

Fast Qualifying time each night will be sponsored by Fatheadz Eyewear, who’ll pay $100 to the driver clocking in the fastest in time trials.  Simpson Race Products, Competition Suspension Inc., AutoMeter and Indy Race Parts proudly sponsor each of the four heat races while Indy Metal Finishing is the title sponsor of the semi-feature.

KSE Racing Products supports the Hard Charger, Wilwood Brakes the 13th place finisher each night, and Saldana Racing Products as the sponsor of the first non-transfer and the “sweep,” if a driver can set fast time in qualifying, win his or her heat, then capture the victory in the feature event all in one night.

NOS Energy Drink is the title sponsor of the USAC Midget National Championship.  Hoosier Racing Tire is the “Official Tire of the United States Auto Club.  FloRacing is the official video partner of the United States Auto Club.

Added to their Corn Belt Nationals support, ProSource has put up a $2,500 year-end reward to the driver who passes the most total cars during the feature events throughout USAC’s 2020 Silver Crown, National Sprint and National Midget season.

There, you can print out the form, fill it out and either mail, fax or drop off, along with the entry fee, at the Knoxville Raceway ticket office.  You can mail your form and fee to Knoxville Raceway, Box 347, Knoxville, Iowa 50138 or by fax at 641-842-2899.  Knoxville Raceway is located at 624 N. Lincoln, Knoxville, Iowa.  Competitors are urged to enter the event quickly.

The event, co-sanctioned by the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and the POWRi Lucas Oil War Sprint Car League, features two complete nights of sprint car racing action with each night culminating with a feature race, the Friday, July 10 main event paying $5,000-to-win and the Saturday, July 11 finale paying $20,000-to-win.

Tickets start at $25 for adults on Thursday and $30 for Saturday.

Gates open each night at Knoxville at 5:30pm Central with hot laps set for 6:45pm.

Brady Bacon dominated both ends of the inaugural Brandt Corn Belt Nationals in 2019, walking away with a two-night total of $25,000 between his two victories.

All drivers and teams competing in the event that possess a USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car license will be awarded 50 appearance points each night of the Corn Belt Nationals, which will go toward the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car championship standings.  No prelim or feature points.
