STORMS FORCE KOKOMO POSTPONEMENT

Kokomo, IN........Severe thunderstorms producing heavy rain and spawning tornados in the Kokomo area have forced postponement of Wednesday night's AMSOIL USAC Sprint Car "special event" at the Kokomo Speedway. The race has been rescheduled for September 2. Kokomo's "Sprint Car Smackdown V" opens Thursday night, with three straight days of AMSOIL USAC Sprint Car National Championship racing on tap.
