JULY 14TH "SHARP MEMORIAL" AT TULARE IS CANCELLED


JULY 14TH "SHARP MEMORIAL" AT TULARE IS CANCELLED

 
SANTA MARIA, CA - JUNE 28, 2012... Officials with the USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series have confirmed that the July 14th "John Anthony Sharp Memorial" at Tulare has been cancelled. Track improvements, including a new retaining wall, will not be completed in time for the event. As this writing goes to press, a replacement date at the Thunderbowl Raceway has not been announced. The next point race for the traditional 360s will be the July 7th "Doug Fort Memorial" / "War At The Shore" at Chris Kearns' Santa Maria Speedway. The $2500-to-win event is the second round of the "Grudge Series" with the ASCS Canyon Sprints and will also feature the West Coast Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Mini Dwarfs, and American/Enduro Stocks.
