WEATHER TAKES LAWRENCEBURG TOO; KOKOMO STILL "ON"

WEATHER TAKES LAWRENCEBURG TOO; KOKOMO STILL "ON"

Persistent rain and wet grounds forced cancellation of a second straight night of AMSOIL USAC National Sprint racing. Saturday night's race at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway is the latest victim. Sunday night's event at the Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway remains "go" at this point. We hope to have an update Sunday morning on its status.

Friday's race at Gas City also fell victim to the weather and USAC and track officials are discussing options regarding rescheduling dates for both races.
