TIGHT POINT RACE SPICES SATURDAY'S "KINDOLL CLASSIC"

USAC/CRA FEATURE AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY

Three drivers separated by only 18 points will battle for supremacy in the Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series Saturday night at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway.

The “Kindoll Classic” showcases point leader David Cardey of Riverside, Calif., runnerup and defending series titlist Mike Spencer of Temecula, Calif. and third-place Blake Miller of Yorba Linda, Calif. Spencer is 16 back of Cardey and Miller is just two behind Spencer.

Cardey has two victories this year, including one at the PAS. Spencer also has two wins, including one at Perris, and he won the latest series feature at Calistoga. Miller’s only feature win in 2009 came at the Perris oval.

Former USAC/CRA Champions Cory Kruseman and Tony Jones, plus Rickie Gaunt also own 2009 victories at Perris and should be among top threats for victory in Saturday’s race.
