Ocala, Florida (December 20, 2021)………Thomas Meseraull is headed to Winter Dirt Games XIII with Chris Dyson Racing for the 2022 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship season openers on February 17-18-19 at Ocala, Florida’s Bubba Raceway Park.

Meseraull (San Jose, Calif.) will be behind the wheel of the No. 20 owned by the two-time American Le Mans Series champion driver from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and wrenched by Sean Michael in his York Springs, Pa. shop.

T-Mez owns a multitude of successes over the years at the 3/8-mile D-shaped dirt track in Ocala, capturing a USAC National Sprint Car feature win there in 2016 and, most recently, scored a USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship feature triumph in 2021.

It’s a renewal of a relationship between Meseraull, Dyson and Michael which collected a USAC National Sprint Car feature victory at New York’s Weedsport Speedway in 2018.  Meseraull and Michael previously teamed up to win a USAC Sprint Car A-Main in 2017 at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Speedway for Heffner Racing.

To date, Dyson’s lone previous USAC National Sprint Car win came with Meseraull, the veteran of 10 career series wins who is tied for 52nd on the series’ all-time win list alongside Kyle Cummins, Eddie Sachs, Tony Stewart and Johnny Thomson.

The 13th edition of Winter Dirt Games at Ocala’s Bubba Raceway Park will take place over two consecutive weekends in the month of February 2022 with the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget and USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championships making their only visits to the state of Florida.

Winter Dirt Games XIII festivities begin on Thursday, February 10, with a practice night for the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship, followed by two-straight nights of complete shows for the series at the 3/8-mile D-shaped dirt track on Friday, February 11, and Saturday night’s finale on February 12 in which the winner’s share will be $5,000.

On-track action returns just a few nights later at Bubba Raceway Park with a USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship practice night on Wednesday, February 16, followed by three nights in a row of racing on Thursday, February 17, on Friday, February 18, and the finale on Saturday, February 19, which pays $10,000-to-win.
