COONS LEADS ALL 30 TO WIN "4-CROWN" SPRINT

COONS LEADS ALL 30 TO WIN “4-CROWN” SPRINT

Rossburg, OH…….Jerry Coons Jr. of Tucson, Ariz. led all 30 laps to win Saturday night’s Team Chevy “4-Crown Nationals” USAC National Sprint race at the Eldora Speedway. The win in the Hoffman Auto Racing F5/Gaerte was a record 74th for the team in USAC Sprint racing. Tracy Hines finished second ahead of Scotty Weir, Dave Darland and Brad Sweet. Darland’s finish sliced Levi Jones’ point lead to 15 points. Jones finished seventh in Saturday’s feature. Hines was the fastest qualifier.
