VALVOLINE® CONTINUES COMMITMENT TO USAC RACING

Valvoline®, a brand of Ashland, Inc., serving the transportation vehicle industry worldwide, has reiterated its commitment to the United States Auto Club and its participants through contingency programs for USAC’s National Racing Series during 2009.

A leading marketer and producer of quality branded automotive and industrial products and services, Valvoline has supported USAC’s racing operations for the past quarter-century, including Silver Crown and Sprint Car Series sponsorships and as the entitlement sponsor for the popular Indiana Sprint Week series from 2002-2005.

“Valvoline has been a valued partner for a long time and we are delighted with their continuing commitment to our sport,” said USAC President/CEO Kevin Miller. “Their products have become staples for our race teams, offering quality performance, and we appreciate their dedication to excellence.”

Included in their 2009 USAC program are cash contingencies for the K & N Silver Crown, National Sprint Car and Mopar National Midget Series. Eligibility for the posted awards requires completion and submission of a registration form to USAC, along with proof of purchase for at least two cases of Valvoline product. Two decals will be presented to each registrant for display on both sides of the race car.

Once enrolled, contingency awards earned will be distributed for all previous events in 2009, regardless of motor oil used.
