DONATE YOUR SHOES TO HELP SHELTER DOGS IN MEMORY OF GREG STAAB

In honor of the late Greg Staab - USAC National Sprint Car winner and five-time Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway sprint car track champion - Susannah Stapp will be collecting used shoes up through the end of April to raise funds for some of Greg's favorite dogs, the ones in shelters.

Susannah will be collecting used (or new shoes) on behalf of the St. Roch Foundation for Dogs through Funds2Orgs who help shelter dogs that might otherwise be euthanized.  She is asking all of Greg's friends and fans to clean out their closets and donate your used shoes.

A big goal of 15,000 pairs of shoes has been set to get a $6000 check for the St. Roch Foundation for Dogs.

You may drop off your shoes at Hoosier Tire Midwest at 4155 N County Road 1000 East # A, Brownsburg, Ind.  Shoes will also be collected at the racetrack through April. Susannah will be at the Terre Haute Action Track on Sunday, April 2nd for the USAC Silver Crown season-opening event, the “Sumar Classic.”

You may also call Susannah and she will come over and collect your shoe donation, if need be.  She can be reached at (317) 514-6527.

Betsy & Bernie Stuebgen will also be collecting shoes at Indy Race Parts located at 361 Gasoline Alley, Indianapolis, Ind.  If you attend a race in which Landon Simon is competing, he and his girlfriend Sarah will also collect them and bring them back to Indy.

The shoes will be refurbished by the organization and redistributed throughout the world to those in need, helping not only the dogs in shelters and rescues, but also helping humans in need as well.
