DAVIS SUMMER SIZZLE CHAMP; BRUNS #1 AT CANTON

Canton, Ill……..Mitchell Davis of Auburn, Ill. claimed the “Speed 2 Summer Sizzle Series” championship Saturday night at Spoon River Speedway, after a race won by Patrick Bruns. Davis finished the four-race series with a 20-point margin over Jeff Mallonee. Bruns, of Champaign, Ill., passed Ryan Probst on lap 27 and led the final four laps of the 30-lap feature to beat Probst, Chase McDermand, Austin Archdale and Andy Baugh.
