WINDOM COMMANDS PROSOURCE PASSING MASTER POINTS

Speedway, Indiana (October 6, 2020)………Chris Windom possesses a commanding lead in the 2020 ProSource Passing Master standings entering this weekend’s pair of USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget events, Friday, Oct. 9 at Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, Ill. and Saturday, Oct. 10 at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.

Windom (Canton, Ill.) has passed a total of 185 cars in the 52 feature events run thus far throughout the 2020 USAC National season.  That’s 85 more positions advanced than his next closest competition.

Robert Ballou (Rocklin, Calif.) advanced 14 positions this past Saturday during the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car feature at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway to move into second behind Windom.  He’s reached the century mark in just 21 Sprint starts this season.

Tanner Thorson (Minden, Nev.) is third with 99 feature passes this season while Shane Cottle (Kansas, Ill.) and Kyle Cummins (Princeton, Ind.) are tied in fourth at 95 apiece.

Longtime USAC supporter ProSource has put up a $2,500 reward to the USAC licensed driver who passes the most total cars during the feature events throughout USAC’s National season, encompassing every National Sprint, Midget and Silver Crown race in 2020.

On Friday at Wayne City, the 7th running of the Jason Leffler Memorial will also have the Non-Wing 600 Outlaws, Non-Wing Restrictors & Non-Wing Jr. Sprints on hand.  Pits open at 3:30pm Central, grandstands at 5pm, drivers meeting at 5:30pm and hot laps at 6:30pm. General admission tickets are $25 with ages 12 and under are free.  Pit passes are $40 apiece and $20 for age 10 and under $20

On Saturday at Tri-State, Harvest Cup will also include MSCS Sprint Cars and MMSA Mini Sprints on the card.  Pits open at 2:30pm Central, grandstands at 3:30pm, drivers meeting at 4:30pm and hot laps at 5:30pm.  Adult general admission tickets are $25, students (age 13-18) are $20 and age 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 apiece.
