A pair of USAC National events on the Sprint and Midget calendars have been rescheduled to new dates.

The USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship event at Montpelier (Ind.) Motor Speedway that was rained out on its originally scheduled date of April 22 has been rescheduled to Friday night, September 29.  The new date creates an action-packed late-season doubleheader weekend with the series headed to Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway one night later on Saturday, September 30 for the “Fall Nationals.”

Additionally, the “Jason Leffler Memorial” USAC Midget National Championship event at Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, Illinois has been moved to Sunday, October 22.  The fifth annual event will be the final Midwest race for the National Midgets before the series hits the west coast for the final race of the season – the 77th annual “Turkey Night Grand Prix” at Ventura (Calif.) Raceway.
