THURSDAY NIGHT “WESTERN WORLD” TUNEUP PROVIDES TEAMS ONE FINAL TEST BEFORE THE REAL DEAL

An open practice session featuring the USAC AMSOIL National, CRA and Southwest Sprint Cars will take place Thursday night, November 3 at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek as teams test and tune their machines one final time in preparation for this weekend’s 49th annual “Western World Championships.”

The practice will run from 5:30 to 8:30pm Thursday night at the one-third-mile dirt oval.  Pit passes are $25 while grandstand seats for fans are FREE!

The “Western World” takes place this Friday and Saturday night, November 4-5, 2016 at Arizona Speedway.

This weekend marks the first visit to Arizona Speedway for both the USAC National and CRA Sprint Car series.  The USAC Southwest Sprint Cars have made six trips to the track in Queen Creek this year alone.  R.J. Johnson has been victorious in four of those while Stevie Sussex has won two.

Bryan Clauson won last year’s National/CRA “Western World” finale while Brody Roa took top honors in the 360 Sprint portion of the program.
