USAC CELEBRATES 12 NEW HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

Indianapolis, IN........Twelve new inductees into the USAC Hall of Fame received their commemorative plaques during ceremonies conducted Saturday night at the Lincoln Tech Indianapolis Speedrome prior to the "Tony Stewart Classic" Midget race. Inductees on hand included Roger Penske and Don Kenyon, while family members or designated representatives accepted on behalf of the others, which included Clint Brawner, Jimmy Caruthers, Butch Hartman, Lindsey Hopkins, Jim Hurtubise, Sheldon Kinser, Fred Lorenzen, Larry Rice, Shorty Templeman and Sleepy Tripp, who spoke via phone with emcee Jack Arute.
