MICHAEL SNIDER PICKS UP MADERA’S “GERHARDT CLASSIC

Madera, CA……..Michael Snider of Lakeport, Calif. won Saturday night’s 100-lap ”Gerhardt Classic” Honda USAC Western Midget race at Madera Speedway. The race was co-sanctioned by BCRA. Snider, piloting the S & K Automotive/Reynolds Truck & Crane Stewart/Mopar, took the lead on lap 96 from Chad Nichols, who had led for 53 laps. David Goodwill finished second ahead of Jarid Blondel, Gary Conterno and Nichols. Jerome Rodela led the first 42 laps but finished eighth.
