Attention anyone interested is the new USAC .25 Midget series!

I am part of a small group of people that are looking into starting a new club in the Pittsburgh area as early as 2010 or 2011.

But we need your help! We need your feedback!

We know that in Pennsylvania there are not a lot of tracks for our young drivers. We want to change that by leading the way with a new "Family Friendly Facility" and making it easy to get kids involved in racing.

We want the track to be successful. We need to know that "if we build it, they will come".

We are asking for your ideas and your support. Please feel free to tell us what you want to see at the track, tell us what you don't like. Help us build a track that you would bring your family to.

we will be posting a new website in the coming months and we invite you to check back often as we plan to update you here as information comes available.

This is our 9th year in the QM racing world and we've traveled to quite a few different race tracks. We've been to tracks in California, Tennessee, Florida, Connecticut, Indiana, Michigan, and our home state of Ohio. As a member of the NWOQMRA (Toledo) track I like to think we have one of the best facilities around. We have a lot of paved parking, flush toilets, a shower in each restroom, a concession stand that has a covered eating area, a covered scale house, a tower with quite a bit of room, and a nice banked track. We are installing soft walls this year and doing away with the old steel guardrails. Are there improvements to make? Sure. We'd look at a better way for the cars to enter and exit the race track so you have less congestion. Also staging lanes that are conducive to larger events. Last but not least have USAC as your sanctioning body.
You will never please everyone with your facility so you need to do what you believe is best for your members first, then look at your district needs and so on. Best of luck to you. It won't be easy or inexpensive.
