I am new to the Ford Focus program. What is the age of the oldest driver?  After watching Sammy Swindell win the Chili Bowl for the 5th time, I would like to try this type of racing at 56.
I have motorcycle, off road and soem TQ racing under my belt.  Any other older guys want to try this?

I believe J.R. Williams at the age of 74 would take those honors. He even led the main at Bakersfield last weekend!

This series is not just for the younger guys !!   The ages range from 14 - 70 something and all ages in between.  Jet Davidson is in his 40's, Walt Johnson too. This is not a driver development series only.  This is the best series for having fun, great racing and not going broke....  Lots of cars are available, I would strongly urge anybody to get into it, you'll have a blast !

Mr. Williams also contributes an article on www.openwheelracers.com after each of his races. It is always a great read. Check it out sometime.
