What is the recommended break in procedure for a new GX120 engine that has never been run?  Should I run a special oil or stick with the 5w20 synthetic I will be using in it?

Slash, buy the cheapest 10w30 no name brand regular motor oil you can find and run that first. Get 3 or 4 good race days on it then change and run your synthetic. Always drain oil soon as you shut off motor and its good and hot.

Clouse in da house! We never ran synthetics. I didn't think it was a good idea with the high silicone content of the aluminum block, but, if that's what you guys did it can't be bad.
