Has anybody heard anything about the kid that was driving the Truckers sprint car?  Last I heard he was pretty serious?  Anymore details?

The lastest information information on Kenny is this from his website as of 8-31:

"Kenny seems to be coming out of the confusion stage. He told me today in a soft voice that he knows he's in the hospital. He does not know why, but this is a great start. It has now been 30 days since the accident and he is really starting to give is some positive hope. Yesterday was the first day Kenny was able to roll on his side. The doctor said that sitting up should follow soon. We are very excited on his progress."

9-15 Kenny is progressing extremely well. His motor skills are coming around and his left side continues to get stronger. He can sit up in bed unassisted and is able to walk a few steps with help. He is socializing very well but is still confused about current events. We are able to have a little fun with him as his humor is stronger than ever. He gets a kick out of us calling him 10 minute Kenny in relation to the 50 First Dates movie (10 second Tom). This is in reference to his short term memory which the therapists' are working on. We still don't know what the future holds, but he his coming around quickly. We are going to try and bring him to the Oct. 4th race at Lawrenceburg next month and then to the Kokomo Klash. He definately knows that the racing community has been extremely supportive and would like to make an appearance before the season ends to thank everyone. The doctors at Methodist are thinking that we might be able to start outpatient therapy in about 3 weeks. We cannot believe that it has been over 6 weeks already since the crash!
