Am I correct in that QMA voted down the RCP for letting the keys remain as legal for the Honda 120 in 2009 and it will be flywheels only?

RCP's 29 & 30 were not included in the RCP's that passed which indicates that they were either pulled or failed.

The RCP's that passed can be viewed here http://www.quartermidgets.org/Article_View_Page.asp?ID=1100

Either the key or flywheel are legal in USAC though.

thanks guys.  I'm not going to rip on QMA but having either as a solution just seems to be the better option for the same result on the timing of the motor.

I don't think you will find many people to disagree with you.

Just think about it, if Honda provides money to QMA, after people buy their new flywheels, how much of that money did they make back?  So basically the members are contributing to the money that Honda donates.

What’s next, discontinuing the Tier II motors and making everyone buy the Tier III?  That’s why I opted to just sell my tier II’s and buy the III’s last year before upgrading, refreshing etc.

Timing = Timing, still trying to understand the big deal or difference???

The difference is that one of Dave Preston's friends needed to make a buck and probably kicked some of it back to him in the process.

yep 2fast, bracing  the last indoor is outlaw because if it was qma the race would of been short way to many racecars due to usac racers not joining qma. if you want to race hard and fun better go usac. im not in any way affiliated with either usac or qma but i feel im making the best decision for my family, sponsors , and raceteam. make your own decision and good luck!

I say forget the politics and go racing. My only concern is going to be the cost of running both tire bills are going to sky rocket!!!!
