Come out and enjoy a FUN weekend of racing at the Toledo club, NWOQMRA. Every year we host the Willie Magrell Memorial race which is a fun weekend of racing. There will be Twinkie dashes, Austrailian pursuits, and regular racing. Qualifying, Twinkie dashes, and Austrailian pursuits are Friday night, July 22 with heats and features on Saturday. If you can't make it Friday night you can still race on Saturday. There will be prize raffles and lots of things for the kids to do including off the track fun. Potluck dinner with donations on Saturday night. NWOQMRA supplies burgers and dogs and you bring a dish to pass. A portion of the proceeds go to Victory Junction Gang in Willie's name.
Come and race and stay for Sunday when the Toledo leg of the Ohio Championship Series will be held.
Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend for a great cause. Come out and have some fun. Help us make this a great event in Willie's honor.

Never been there but would like to make it there this year. Any clue on gears for a hvy 120 AND 160 car?  What time are sign in's and can we stay in a camper there or a close motel near by? Thanks,Joe

You can stay in a camper at the track and there are also a lot of hotels within a couple of miles. We never ran heavy 120 but we did run heavy 160 last year. A 9 split gear will get you close for heavy 160. When we ran senior honda we ran a 8 split.
Friday night signs in's are from 6-7 pm. Fun races follow.
Saturday sign in's are from 8-9 am with handlers meeting at 9:30 and racing immediately following.
Cost for the Willie Magrell event per car is $25 for both days or $20 for just Saturday. The Sunday event is an additional fee as it is the Ohio Championship Series event.

Thanks to everyone that attended the Willie Magrell Memorial race this weekend. Lots of good racing, good prizes, good raffles, good food, good fun, and good people. Andy Martell even won a purse at the prize raffles. Nobody was sure WHY he put his tickets in that prize container but oh well.

A couple of rain delays but the skies cleared and all was good. Very fun weekend with the drivers learning different types of races like the twinkie 4 lap dashes and the austrailian pursuits.

If you couldn't make it this year remember to put it on your calendar for next year. 2012 date will be announced early next year.

Ohio Championship Series race tomorrow (Sunday, July 24) with signins at 10 AM. Make your way to Toledo and enjoy some great racing.
