Hi,

I has been a long time since I watched a midget race in person.  The Freeport track is long gone.

I was at a local car show this weekend.  I did see a couple of nice 30's roadsters.  What really hit me was what I suspect was a midget or what I think we called TQ's.  Painted on the cowling was  Stockert Offy #3.  Also 67 Champ, 68 Class Champ and 69 Class Champ.  I was surprised to see the rope pull starter on the engine.  I had no idea they were still running those engines in the late 60's.

Can anyone tell where on line to go to research this car?  Thank you for your help in advance.

Neil
