Dive belt weights work really good for smaller amounts like that.  Check your local used sporting good stores for a used dive belt.  The beauty of it is if the belt is worn you can get it really cheap, since all you want is the lead weights out of it.

That's a good suggestion, Scott.

If you have trouble finding something locally we have 10# bars for $30. Approximately, 1 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide x 12" long. I believe we have 3 in stock with more on the way. We also have 20# bars for $55. Can ship anywhere in a USPS flat rate box. 888-917-4777.

Why are you adding weight to the nose of the car?

Hanging weight out on the nose is the worst way to get it. Try putting the weight as close to the driver's butt as you can and making adjustments.

If you are in Tampa bay area then you could always come see me for lead since I own a recycling facility. I have a scrap yard in Gibsonton and Brooksville. If you are USAC/QMA member then I have lead for $1.50/lb and $2.00/lb for anyone else.....I also have usable aluminum and steel material. We also could ship to you as well, but shipping cost would be up to buyer. 813-677-1606 or email me @ larrynash@patriotmetals.com.
