Did the Kokomo club retain their QMA affiliation?

taken from the minutes of the Kokomo USAC decision meeting...

Can we do dual memberships with USAC and QMA? QMA says no to dual memberships and/or dual sanctioned tracks.

I would have to assume that means No.

Kudos and congratulations on taking this bold step.

I see a bright future for one of the most unique driver's track in QMs.

First, let me start by congratulating the Kokomo club!

As a member driven organization, the members should have to vote on
implementing a rule for no dual membership’s right?

If QMA says no, that is pretty sad. USAC's webinar was very
professional and positive, they also allow dual membership. From
what I have seen and heard, QMA is not being very positive and if
they don't allow dual memberships, that in my opinion will only force
more families to join USAC.

QMA should really use this opportunity to their benefit and work on
improving QMA to retain memberships and to co-exist with USAC.

I would also like to congratulate Kokomo on the big step to join USAC.
We have run at Kokomo and the people are wonderful and I hope this will bring
great things to the track and its members.

I hope QMA will allow dual charters and membership. It would be ashame that QMA would be so childish as to take thier ball and go home. If they are for the children
as they say they are, let it happen. Kids will have more chances to race. Like when the grands are going on and no one can run at their home track so its closed for a month.
The kids do not care they just want to race and have fun with their friends.

Thanks Guys for your support for this  we think it is a great oppertunity  for the kids of KQMC.   This deal will grow in time for sure other tracks will team up with USAC!!  Now the club can begin to teach these kids how to races like the big boys  and get to visit the big boys while they race!!  Just a win win deal for us!!! Cool
