A New ROOKIE at MOC!!

Hey all!  I just wanna say "THANKS!!" to all of you at MOC for helping us out as we get started.  You all have been such a wonderful group of people to work with.  A special thanks to Andy Myers.  Watching you with Taylor during her training sessions was awesome.  She thinks alot of you and is still talking about you.  I'll be honest, I was afraid as a mother that it was all going to be a little different than it really was.  I thought for sure we would have someone screaming at her and not really understanding she's just a 5 yr old kid, and that trying to make her follow directions and sit still(in a car) can be a big chore.  Anyways, you all do such a great job with these kids.
Thanks to MOC for making the kids feel special by giving them a trophy for their first time out on the track.  I had to pry it out of her arms as she fell asleep with it on the way home. It really made her feel special!!
We all look forward to being a part the MOC/USAC family.

We enjoyed watching her in her first race. She did so good. Thank you for becoming apart of the MOC club. Seeing her smile when she was showing off that new trophy, was awesome.

ANDY..... So far, so good in school.  She now comes home and right away tells me what color her card was for the day.  They go by index cards in her class.  Green is good, orange or red...bad.   Green has been the color so far.  WooHoo!!  We've got some busy wknds comin up this month, so I think we may take her to Mac this wknd for some more practice.  My parents haven't seen her in the car yet, so I think we'll invite the other grandma and grandpa to go with us.

PS.  Will ssssmoke please identify himself??  Just curious....thanks!!   And I agree....I think once we get her goin',  were gonna be in trouble.  lol

I had been checking this site and MOC site to see if she was running yet.  Glad to hear it went well.  Sounds like she is enjoying it and I hope the car was fast!

Aaron, we could not have asked for a better starter car for Taylor.  We have had everything we need, thanks to such a wonderful deal we got from you.  Were not sure yet what were going to be doing thru the winter.  We would like to try and do the Winternationals at Columbus, but money's tight right now all the way around.  So keep checkin' the sites...who knows, maybe we'll surprise ya.  Hope all is goin well with the kart.
