Is USAC planning on running the engine platforms that are already in place for next year or are they going to introduce something else. Maybe a briggs?

Hopefully if they introduce something new, like briggs, they will also keep the Honda classes as well.

I agree, I would hope if they were completely phasing out the honda classes they would give us a little more notice. I would think it would be good to have one briggs class next season and then expand from there.

I think you will see two NEW Briggs classes next year in addition to the current Honda classes. I dont see any changes in the deco classes. I would assume there will be some discussion in how to increase the car counts in stock and mod that will come up at sometime. There will be a meeting of the USAC .25 Competition Committee (engine and chassis builders) in the next couple of weeks to discuss this and other items for the 2010 season. Again this is just my opinion.

Any representation of members in those meetings or just engine and chassis builders?

Yes...from the list of names I saw the clubs will all be represented as well and members at large.
