I would like to thank all MWT organizers, USAC club presidents, and EVERY USAC club member for their sacrifices of bringing a new, and refreshing way to go quartermidget racing. I have heard the stories but did not realize the actual grief that certain members, Region 4 and QMA national have caused until witnessing it first hand. You all stood behind your beliefs and done what was right, to bring about a racing series that not only is about the kids, its about family. It takes a family, a racing family, to work together and put on these races, produce timely photos and results, (most on the very same day) and to keep up the websites to make sure everyone is informed. I never really realized it untill reading this forum, people helping others with gearing, setups, or just simple advise, this is a true racing family. QMA is not a family but an organization made up of seperate cliques fighting with one another for their own little piece of control. Without QMA they are nothing.

There are tons of good people up here in Michigan that just want to race and I hope follow your lead!
Thanks again everyone for all your hard work and congratulations on a very successfull racing season.
 Mrs. Wolverine.

Amen Sister,  I have  really got a good feeling about this Usac racing and the two Michigan tracks. I've spent the last 4 days spreading the word, this is the way we want to go racing over the next 7yrs. We will join a Usac track next year even if its not in Michigan, NWOQMRA is the closest track to the house with good people and Saturday & Sunday shows. There are people up here that just use their influence to sway votes against Usac and talk big s##t about something they know nothing about. This is all for a guy up here in Lansing and one in Napoleon on a power trip. My only question to them is what about the kids. If you can't afford to go to the east coast and out west, where do you race June through August. Three permanent tracks and a parking lot that didn't even have an address till a week before the Tri-city is just not cutting it. The Nationals at the same location at Indy Brick Yard every year makes a lot more sense to me. Who doesn't want there kid to race at the Brick Yard. I'll just shut my mouth for now, I know how things work in Qma, we might have to sit in the parking lot for the Banquet.

First of all I would like to thank the moderator for taking the responsibility
of editing the post by "michiganracer" which in her derogatory comments references a race team formed by a group of kids, including my own.
It is unfortunate that we have a few individuals in our sport, whether it be QMA or USAC that are compelled to continue to be destructive and make personal attacks especially when it leads to a group of children.
It is my opinion that people should race where and with whom they want and should not be forced to take sides. I personally did not have the opportunity to participate in a USAC event this year but know several  Michigan racers that have and had a very positive experience. I am sure both organizations have their issues and believe there are good people behind both and believe it would be beneficial to be constructive in an effort to help the sport as a whole.
If everyone is truly interested in what is best for our families and the sport of quarter midget racing they will set their personal agendas aside and take responsibility for their actions and set a positive example for our kids and not continue to slander others while hiding behind a keyboard and a screen name.
Sincerely,
Kevin Feeney

sounds good feeney, and you are right. but we all know what is going on in the qma world. qma is a sinking ship because of the people in control. good luck wherever you may race.

I have always respected USAC's web site and have never posted anything negative on it but after reading several commits on different treads I have to say that I am total disgusted with a few of you that are continually trash talk QMA, this is one of main reasons that I flat out refuses to run a USAC race. This has also made me a strong advocate on keeping our track a QMA track. I also find that when some of you change your user name to post a commit on a tread as a “Rookie” from a QMA club to be very deceiving, do you really think that the readers are that dumb………….you are insulting the intelligent of good members in both originations but are fooling No-One. As an outsider watching in at this site I do not get the message you are trying to send when you are trashing QMA, to tell you the truth this maybe why you have not breached any of the Michigan clubs.

I am a QMA member that happens to be enjoying were I am,  I am with my child doing what we want, that is racing with great kids with hard working mom's and dad's just like all of you. I am sure that USAC did not create and pay for this web site so that you “so called adults” could sit around and trash other people, clubs or organization.  My kid along with his race buddies all visit the USAC webs site and are laughing at all the lame commits about how USAC is better then the QMA. My son asked me the other day” Hey dad are those kids in USAC still turning left” and I had to laugh. USAC is a great organization but this does not mean everyone needs to join them, QMA is a great organization but this again does not mean everyone needs to like them. I agree that both have their share of problems....while with the QMA you may not like the board and with USAC's the thing I do not care for is the few insignificant Queens that are trashing others while using a sign-in name instead of real name, why is that?

Most of the QMA members that I race with weekly have raced anywhere between one to six races with you guy’s at USAC and thay have had a great times but this has not make them want to switch and go USAC. I on the hand would like to race some USAC races but due to all of the crying little babies on this Forum and one of your grand Pooh-Bah’s that has lied to me about things that went on in USAC……..well that is what turns me along with others right off.

I believe that USAC runs a great ship and USAC is not the problem…the problem is the 5% of the little crewmembers that get to steer the USAC boat once in a while, (chating on this Forum). NOW I AM NOT SAYING THAT EVERYONE ON THIS WEB IS A CRY BABY only about 5%!!!!!

You need to stop the trash talk, it looks bad for USAC, you need to get back to the kids and maybe, just maybe you will see membership increase. If I may give you an example of your Forum's trash talk: I was at the first race in Ohio at the new track that Tony Marks built and it was one of the best times my son and I have had in Quarter Midgeting. We will always remember the great time all that showed had. No one and I mean No one left disappointed like that “ rookie”, “michiganracer” want you to believe, that was just an outright lie and the fact that no one that that weekend ran both Jr. Honda along with Lt. 160 is telling us that this guy wasn't even there. I want to know who in ether origination has ever done what Tony did for QMA or USAC kids living in Ohio?HuhHuh He built a fricken track, $10.00 or $100,000.00 he built a fricken track and now, the "Rookie", "michiganracer” trashes him………...so here is a million dollar question for you Mr. “michiganracer”, what have you done for ether originations?

My only suggestion would be is to ask USAC to step up to the plate and monitor or filter the Compulsive Complainers that are trashing anyone, any club or any other organization before their commits make it to this Forum because they are ruining a good thing for USAC's good people. People do look at this site and decision are made from this site and as again a outsider looking in at the latest entries off of this tread……….well lets just say I still have no interest in bring my son or club into this USAC environment and I am sure others feel the same.

That is correct Mr. Phil until "TODAY"...........and this is why I posted my thoughts on your site. For some reason or another Phil you see the need to twist my words to make me look bad and I am sure that this makes you feel better about yourself. Hey folks look at my post and the truth is there. Hey Phil I am happy that you responded to my post because it show that you are a dedicated dad to the sport, well so am, I also hopefully that we can get a meeting of the mines so That I can also join USAC. That day will not come until we can get along being in different group with out the animosity, I will not subject my son to type of action. I hope you and your child have a great and successful end of the season. Your pal, Barry.

and yet I reminisce of the phantom QMA board and all the mudslinging at USAC that went on there. Wasn't until the QMA criticism got heavy that they shut it down.

USAC does a good job monitoring this forum, and when something over the line is said they will go in and edit it out (whether it's about a QMA or USAC member) but they're not going to censor every little thing because we're all adults and if we would like to express our frustrations with QMA or USAC, that's fine. You ever think the reason these people bad mouth QMA is because they have reason to. Have you not seen the complaints against USAC that come up on here? They're a little bit fewer and far between because USAC doesn't pout about it, they listen to it and adjust accordingly.

But what do I know I'm just a USAC member, and to quote one of your own QMA members, that makes my team a bunch of "has-beens."

Just race........

Mr. Burns, You are correct on everything you said. I agree and think this Forum is a wonderful thing. I also have zero issues with people voicing their opinions but when the USAC forum allows the members to trash the individual clubs, (i.e. Waterford, Lansing and Napoleon) for NO REASON, well that is just slanderous. In past last week there have been some USAC members that have gone as far as taking direct hits towards two of the members of my own club and almost created a melt down for which I had to stopped.  The clubs did nothing to create this parting of the ways, it all started with Toledo and because we did not drink the Kool-aid we are being looked down at? You guy’s use to be friends with us and now you have some folks that are lying about the clubs………..stick to the Board and stay away from us.

My kid, as I said reads, he see old friend fathers lashing out, making allegations about friends fathers now and is having a hard time with it. I do not want him to think this is how racing parents should be……..does this make any since to you? I am not doing all this writhing today for me, I am not out to prove a point, I am merely trying to ask for all of us to let go and stop the attacks on the clubs. I could care less about the QMA or the USAC board…………just the clubs, is that to hard?

Maybe Kevin and Barry you can now answer a couple questions for me.
Why during our club meeting anyone wanting to talk about USAC were treated like outcasts?
Each member has paid their dues like everyone else there and should get an equal voice without heckling, rude comments and treated with respect.
   Why were we lied to?
Kevin, according to a post on this forum and also from phone calls I made, USAC is NOT changing engine platforms, NOT doing away with Deco's, NO Spec. chassis. I was also told before the meeting that all USAC clubs in region 4 were going back to QMA, our president cleared that up but that also is a lie.
Why did we have to take talking about another santioning body off our agenda?
Our club is a QMA SANCTIONED club owned by the members, not QMA. We dont keep QMA meeting minutes, we keep club meeting minutes, as a club we can discuss anything we want to without predjudice.
Agenda? Mine is to hear the truth.

Everyone knows if you speak your mind against QMA or ones in control you can pay the price. Barry you have been trolling on here for a long time under screen names so dont get self rightious.

Answer the questions.
