Blackie Fortune one of the great car owners that supported USAC throughout the 80's has passed
away. Thought it was unusual that someone that gave so much to our sport has not even been mentioned here. I would like to say to his family, My deepest condolences. Such a great man for our sport. Great Memories.  Here are a couple of pics. Would like to give Gene Maderness and Jim Fisher a big hand for capturing some great shots of a legend

Ricky Hood drove that car to a Silver Crown win at DuQuion, He was running in 3rd and on lap 96 made a pass in turns 3 and 4
