Thank you to everyone who came to Columbus yesterday for the first installment of the 2013-2014 Buckeye Indoor Series. We had the largest turnouts for the November race in several years. Our Rookie class and practice sessions were full. A great sign the sport is healthy. It was fun to see many families moving up from Junior to Senior classes as well as movement from Light to Heavy classes.

The competition, as always, was first class. We really appreciate everyone, many who travelled from many states away, coming to races with us. We'll look forward to seeing everyone back for the next race (the second of six total races) on December 7th. We're working to post results and pictures on our new website. Please visit WWW.BQMRA.COM for more details.

Thank you again.

Also, be sure to like the Buckeye Quarter Midget Racing Association on Facebook. Pictures are already uploaded from the event this past Saturday.

Just a quick note. We are still racing this Saturday the 7th. We hope to see as many of you as possible. Looks like most of the bad stuff is missing Columbus. Just some snow here. Check it out and come race with us!

Thanks,

Richard

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and joined us this past Saturday. We had a great turnout and an uneventful race. We'll look forward to seeing everyone back on January 11th. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Buckeye club.

Good Morning! The Buckeye Club is looking forward to seeing everyone for the third race in the 6 race series tomorrow! It looks like the weather will be a balmy 46F for us on Saturday, the 11th, quite a change from earlier in the week. We have already heard of several families who will be joining us for the first time in this series. We're looking forward to a great day of racing!

Best regards,

The Buckeye club would like to thank all of this who joined us this past Saturday, we had a great turnout! We are looking forward to seeing everyone back on January 25th.

USAC officials will be on hand Friday evening (January 24th) from 6 - 8pm to perform full Safety inspections including cars and drivers equipment. This is a great way to get a jump on the upcoming outdoor season. 2014 stickers will be provided to those who are eligible. This is optional and NOT a requirement for racing, but the cars will be subject to passing safety specifications per the rules. We are happy to announce we will once again have the independent tech inspectors joining us to ensure parity.

As a reminder, please note that all indoor parking is to be done on Friday. There is no indoor parking on Saturday morning. Indoor parking is available on a first come basis and there is a $20 charge for this.

Thanks again to all of those who have joined us. We are working hard to maintane the Buckeye Indoor Winternationals as the premier winter indoor racing venue.

Best regards,

Richard

We had a great turnout for our race on January 25th, this was the highest car count yet! Thank you to everyone that came from far away, the Buckeye club knows this required many of you to endure some extreme weather conditions in order to join us.

We look forward to everyone joining us again for this coming weekends race (Feb 8th), the 5th in the 6 race series. As a reminder, all indoor parking needs to be on Friday the 7th. For specifics on the program and times, please see www.BQMRA.com

Thank you again for your support of this series.

Once again, we had a great turnout for our past race, especially when considering the threat of bad weather, which never materialized. I was happy to see several families join us for the first time in the series.

The weather looks good for this weekends final race of the series. We hope to see some more first time faces for the series. The competition level remains unmatched, Columbus is the place to come and race in the Winter.

It should be exceptionally exciting this weekend as there will be a feature spread on us in the WEEKENDER portion of the local newspaper, The Dispatch. Additionally, and perhaps even more exciting, the local ABC television affiliate will be broadcasting live from the event in the morning. We are hopeful this can bring attention not only to the event, but to our sport. Plan on being there early to see if you might get on TV!

I see there are some tight points battles, this will be fun to watch them unfold and champions crowned.

Thanks again for the support of the Series. We'll look forward to seeing everyone back this Saturday, February 22nd.
