The Mac-O-Chee Club welcomes all those who are coming to our Bob Nock Memorial Midwest Thunder Event. We are sure the creek will be a popular place this weekend - please use it responsibly - and parents make sure you check it out before allowing your child to get in. We will have water available for drivers in the stagging lanes and will also have a cooler with water and ice at the tech shed for towels to be dunked in to help cool down drivers before/after events. Please make sure you have plenty of water with you as we are under a heat warning for the weekend and everyone will need to keep extra-hydrated.

The concession stand will be open on Saturday and Sunday. We also have Tiger's Den Pizza, Subway and the Ice Cream Shoppe that are also popular attractions in West Liberty and if you have a sweet tooth - you really need to check out Marie's Candies. Country Hearth Inn in Urbana is our track hotel. The Comfort Inn and Super 8 Hotels in Bellefontaine are also close (DO NOT DO THE BELLEFONTAINE INN). If you need to get out of the heat, you may want to make plans to check out the Ohio Caverns - just 4 miles away from the track (we have brochures in the tower) - always a cool 54 degrees in the caverns. If you missed out on fireworks, there will be some on Saturday night at Indian Lake - about 25 minutes away.

Have a safe trip & we will see you this weekend.

I just wanted to say what an awesome job the Mac-O-Chee club did this weekend. Even with the extreme heat we all endured it was a great event. Thank you!
