USAC has been asked before and the stance is the same there will be no tire cutting allowed on the premise or in the pit area for any USAC national events.
Just like a million other things in racing, people can discuss til the cows come home the effectiveness or lack there of with the procedure. We have been very happy with the performance of the Hoosier tires and appreciate their support of the series. We will also continue to take tires and send them to our tire testing lab following all National events to eliminate the thought of anyone soaking tires. The Nashville club has worked very hard preparing for this event and we look forward to seeing everyone at Round #2 of 2k11 USAC "Generation Next" Tour. |
