Title: WEBCAST - Columbus Indoor - MWT - 2011
Post by: sprintcar39 on February 23, 2011, 12:23:08 PM
All the details have been worked out to webcast the final indoor quarter midget of the year at Columbus Ohio this weekend.

The two day USAC .25 Midwest Thunder Championship Series event will be held this Saturday and Sunday. The format calls for Hondas on Saturday and Briggs/Deco on Sunday. The webcast should start about 11:00 each day and will be live until all the races have been completed. The awards ceremony will also be webcast.

The clubs from the MWT Series have allowed for the purchase of a internet cable to be brought to the facility to insure excellent upload speeds for the feed. Thanks to: Miami Valley, Indy .25, Mac-O-Chee, NWOQMRA-Toledo, Little Kalamazoo Speedway, BQMRA-Columbus and KQMC-Kokomo. If you see any of the officers from these clubs take the time to thank them for the support so that we can continue these in the future.

A special thank you to USAC and James Spink for supporting the MWT Webcasts for the 2011 racing season.

With the new lighting and the internet connection we should be able to have some awesome footage this weekend. The link for the webcast will posted shortly here so that you can pass it along to your family and friends across the country.

At this time we dont have an announcer but if anyone knows of anyone that would like to announce the races just let us know and we would be glad to put them to work.
