Title: Animal Engine Number
Post by: sprintcar39 on December 31, 2009, 10:37:23 AM
There has been some confusion about the part number for the Briggs Animal engine that is being used in USAC .25 competition.

The number on the Briggs website is WRONG. It must be a typo. I will talk to Dave at Briggs and see if he can get it sorted out. Steve Baker confirmed that the USAC .25 Animal Tech Manual is right.

The correct number is 124332-8201  This is a LO (Local Option) 206 engine. It comes with the correct rev limiter.
