Title: Make sure you know what your buying Post by: fastqm14 on December 03, 2009, 11:28:59 AM This is for the people that are looking to buy quarter midgets. Make sure you know what your buying. If you have a friend or family member that has done this for a while ask them for advice. I dont want anybody to get burnt( like I did ).
I bought one early last year, ready to go. Well little did I know that the motor is basically junk. I just got a call from my engine builder telling me he wouldn't waste the money to fix the motor. So my advice to all new folks looking to get in to this series, ASK QUESTIONS. A lot of newcomers post in the general section so you may get your message across to more people there. Just a thought and sorry to hear someone took advantage of you.
