Title: Checks from Watsonville? Post by: sean dodenhoff on June 09, 2009, 04:31:05 PM Has anyone received their check from the Watsonville race? I was just wondering. Hanford came but nothing for Watsonville. Is there a problem. We have a race scheduled there in the near future; will there be a purse?

Post by: m.mcc on June 10, 2009, 01:08:11 AM Just so there's no misunderstanding, any delay in receiving the pay-out from Ocean Speedway come from with-in our own system. I know for a fact that the promoter paid promptly and he even asked for Bill Carlson's address so he could refund them their pit fees. That was a gesture that he was under no obligation to do. Believe me, you don't have to worry about either the solvency or integrity of the Ocean Speedway management.
