Title: honda gx horsepower Post by: Cowboybub14 on September 23, 2012, 07:49:26 PM can anyone tell me the range of horsepower from an "ok"motor to a "good" motor in both a gx120 and a gx160, we are fairly new to quarter midget racing and trying to upgrade for next year , just wondering what we should be looking for h.p. wise . our motors we have now are built by r motorworks , they seem to perform well , your opinions on motor builders ?

how hot it is in the room, humidity, is there a vaccum system hooked to the exhaust there are way to many factors to list. Find a good engine builder that your happy with and stick with him. Look at who's top in points and talk to them about when they are getting out of the sport. Those motors never make it to the for sale forum.
