Title: Re: Titanium Gear sets Post by: gtracer on March 01, 2012, 08:25:39 PM I havent seen titanium gears out there But we had a member that ran a titanium engine hub on a 120 last year, He sheared 3 keyways last summer, He made the keyway from the same stick of keyway that I made the keyway for my Lt 160, mine lasted all summer

The only sets Ive seen use smaller diameter sprockets. What you lose in weight you also lose in chain efficiency and the ability for the chain to easily turn the axle.
