Post by: Magic Man on February 28, 2012, 05:52:20 PM
Does anyone run or prefer the titanium gear sets?

I havent seen titanium gears out there But we had a member that ran a titanium engine hub on a 120 last year, He sheared 3 keyways last summer, He made the  keyway from the same stick of keyway that I made the keyway for my Lt 160,  mine lasted all summer
I will stay with my aluminum for the Hondas and DPI hubs for the W/F

Save your money. The only sets Ive seen use smaller diameter sprockets. What you lose in weight you also lose in chain efficiency and the ability for the chain to easily turn the axle.

gt, you shear the key, not the keyway.....  LMAO!!  Sorry just couldnt resist!!
