Title: Re: AA in nashville Post by: cdr4d on March 04, 2011, 12:18:17 PM we want to run are lt AA, but if the track is to big it is to hard to run that high of rpm for a long time. have AA ever ran there?
Title: Re: AA in nashville Post by: Jeff Lapcevich on March 04, 2011, 12:43:00 PM I'm on the fence about coming but would really like too. I'll run an AA if we go; either light or heavy as long as there's enough of them. I've never seen the track but I don't think it's bigger than Mini Indy is it?

Title: Re: AA in nashville Post by: cdr4d on March 04, 2011, 02:12:53 PM heard its compared to whiteland. when we went there AA's were blowing like crazy.
Title: Re: AA in nashville Post by: JMW23 on March 04, 2011, 02:36:01 PM Not as big as Whiteland. Larger than Mini Indy but flat and sweeping corners so its not as fast. Real smooth asphalt.
Title: Re: AA in nashville Post by: sprintcar39 on March 04, 2011, 02:54:52 PM It is not even close to Whiteland. We ran Heavy WF there a couple of weeks ago and ran a 4.91 gear. It will be a great place to run a AA car.
We for one will be there for sure and will be running our AA car. The track is very fun to race on. It will require a good setup and a driver to be successful at Nashville. Title: Re: AA in nashville Post by: cdr4d on March 04, 2011, 04:12:16 PM good to hear, thanks for the info., count us for a lt. AA and lt. wf
Title: Re: AA in nashville Post by: dmmc on March 07, 2011, 08:50:51 AM The McPherson brothers are planning on running hvy AA, so there's 2. As far as AA's blowing like crazy at Whiteland last year, they were both mine. The first was a broken crank on the flywheel side probably due to a poor gear choice, the second was our untested back-up motor which got hot & stuck the piston -- my fault.
