We have ran it indoors. So far I like it. Tire held up well mounted up well, got plenty of bite. The true test will be outdoors, when its 80 plus degrees

my guess is that it would be the spec tire for all national events and more that likely regional events. Club level events are usually per club.

the ny1 or a40 will be the only tires allowed for 2012. The a35's are out of production from my understanding. Mini-Indy decided to go ahead and make the ny1 the spec tire for club races as well. I think you could use the a35 at the club level if you so choose until they are all used or can no longer get

the Hoosier a35 NY1 will be the only tire approved for USAC "Gen Next" pavement events on the right side.

So just to confirm before we start buying tires ....... 2012 USAC Spec tire is the Hoosier a35 NY1 for right side only and left side is open tire rule. Please confirm and thanks.

The Hoosier a35 NY1 will be the only tire approved for USAC "Gen Next" pavement events on the right side. a40's will not be permitted for National events.
The approved dirt tires will be Hoosier: d10, d30 or a35NY1
Left sides are open for both dirt and pavement events.
