A few updates on the USAC .25 Dirt races this weekend.

Per Jim at GreatLakes Speedsports: The track is in great shape and if it rains it will only help him in the preparation of the racing surface. He states that they could easily get an inch of rain and it will have no affect on the track or parking and that the rain is scheduled for early in the day.

Because GreatLakes Speedsports will have go carts running the same night as the Quarter Midgets on Saturday they have come up with a revised admission/entry price. They are going to charge each person going into the pits $10.00 and only $10.00 entry per car. General admission is $5.00. The handler should get a pit pass and everyone else should ask for a general admission wrist band. You will still be able to get into the pits with general admission wrist band. Depending on the number of cars/family members this will work out better for most. They are doing this to make it easier at the sign-up window for entry.

Barry,   yes come on down and run some dirt USAC .25 races. You will have a great time. Why did you decide not to go and support the other track this weekend?

Remember with USAC you have one free pass to come and check it out. All you need to bring is your sons birth certificate sign a wavier and go have fun.

It is also worth noting that you wont have to judge, corner work, help in the tower or race direct. See ya Saturday.

Eric, I thank you very much but I was just screwing around with you........(you know how I am). I will tell you the truth, if I was not going to Tony's I would use that free pass to go dirt, It sound like a blast. How is Ross? I see he is fast as always. I heard you got behind the wheel again.........how did you do? Well some day soon I will be down to race you again; I kinda miss that Rankin humor.

Stay cool and be well and have a great time this weekend,

Barry
