WIGAL BRINGS THE THUNDER, WINS WITH USAC MTM AT CIRCLE CITY

Indianapolis, Indiana (August 8, 2022)………Zach Wigal led all 20 laps to score his second USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget feature victory of the season on Sunday night at Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis, Ind.

Wigal (Belpre, Ohio) started third on the grid, but found his way to the lead on the opening lap and proceeded to lead all 20, following up his June victory at Ohio’s Moler Raceway Park with another at Circle City.

Following Wigal to the stripe were 10th starting Michael Magic (Winder, Ga.) while point leader Stratton Briggs (Anna, Ohio) took third for his 14th top-five finish in 14 series starts this season.  Chris Dickey (Westfield, Ind.) scored a fourth in his first start of the year while Alex Watson (Columbus, Ohio) rounded out the top-five.
