ROTH STRIKES AGAIN WITH IMRA AT MACON

Macon, Illinois (August 28, 2021)………Entering Saturday night’s race, Tyler Roth’s lone career win under the USAC Engler IMRA SpeeD2 Midget banner came during the 2019 season at Macon Speedway in Illinois.
Two years and change later, lightning struck twice as the Springfield, Ill. driver led the entire 25-lap distance from the pole positions to snare his second career series victory, and his second with IMRA at Macon.
It was a complete sweep of the event for Roth who pegged victories during the six-lap dash and the eight-lap heat race earlier in the evening.
Roth was shadowed at the stripe by Will Armitage (Athens, Ill.), Abby Hohlbein (Cloverdale, Ohio) and Daltyn England (Springfield, Ill) while Michael Armitage (Athens, Ill.) rounded out the top-five after starting 14th.
